2017 Brentwood Council’s planning department replied verbally to questios indicating relying on Basildon Districts infrastructue, as no infrastructure details included in reports!
2015 Brentwood Councils reports, whilst contains preferred development options, means best areas to build developments are at:
Pilgrims Hatch, Shenfield, North Brentwood and Greenfield sites North of A12,
where there would be great demand?
Note several actual ratings in their reports totally inaccurate: -
- Let us take Air Quality at Pilgrims Hatch: –
In the report states Air Rating of Red 5 – significant negative effect,’and would require a new junction on the A12.
Rating would still really be 1 Gold Star as the Chief Environmental Health Manager states air quality is good, no problems.
Even if a new junction was built no real effect on development.
- All areas in Brentwood should be 1 Gold Star for Air Quality!
- Brings into question ALL the findings in their reports those who compile them rely on information from the Council.
This brings into question whether future reports/recommendations by Brentwood Council can be trusted.
It appears they do not expect people to check and come up with the actual facts!
DUNTON HILLS GARDEN VILLAGE (DUNTON GARDEN SUBURB)
- No New Train Station
- Residents would be Vehicle Orientated.
- This development would need massive investment if every objective was to be met and major problems overcome.
COMPARING – DUNTON to PILGRIMS HATCH
Updated after checking facts
PLEASE NOTE – Ratings for other areas in BRENTWOOD’s report inaccurate/need substantiating (Urban Areas/Hutton/Herongate & Ingrave/West Horndon etc.)
More likely most AREAS in BRENTWOOD – ONE GOLD STAR for AIR QUALITY!
The table below is from Brentwood Council’s 2015 report.
PLEASE NOTE: Many inaccuracies in BRENTWOOD’s 2015 report, that is why 2 figures shown below:

as last measured in 2003
Air quality would be at least same, but more likely much worse than PILGRIMS HATCH
besides adverely affecting A127
which has congestion problems/traffic jams

Superb air quality!
e.g. Doddinghurst Road
